In the second quarter of 2024, the Film & Television category on the Android platform has seen various trends among the top apps in the United States. Here's a snapshot of their performance, with insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Disney+ experienced a fluctuating quarter, with downloads peaking at 3.1M in early April and dipping to 2M by mid-May, before climbing back to 2.6M towards the end of June. Weekly active users saw a decline from 110K to 90K in mid-May, then a slight recovery to 98K. Revenue trends also showed variability, with a peak at $92K in the first week of April, dropping to $65K in late June.

Amazon Prime Video showed a more dramatic shift in revenue, starting at $4K and reaching a high of $7.8K by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging between 1.6K and 2.2K. Active users fluctuated, with an initial figure of 67K, dipping to 63K, and then closing the quarter at 67K.

Netflix, with no revenue reported, maintained downloads between 1.3K and 1.7K. The app's active user base had a more varied pattern, starting at 259K, decreasing to 231K, and finally rising to 271K by the end of June.

Paramount+ observed a decrease in downloads from 2.1K to 1K, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users saw a downward trend from 15K to 11K. Revenue saw a small dip from $13K to $11K over the same period.

NOW had a consistent performance in downloads, with numbers hovering around 1K throughout the quarter. However, the data available does not include weekly active users or revenue for NOW.
